Last week I had the pleasure of being the photographer for Christina & Scott’s wedding in Copenhagen. I’ll be posting a a bigger blog post with more images from their fun wedding in the near future, but until then here’s one of my favourites.
Lot’s of love, A
I had the most beautiful day together with Sofia & Andreas in Copenhagen a few weeks back, when I photographed their wedding in Copenhagen, Denmark!
They got married at the Thorvaldsens Museum right in the centre of Copenhagen. A fantastic place dedicated to Bertel Thorvaldsen’s sculptures, and it is also Denmark’s oldest museum building. A romantic and perfectly beautiful place to get married.
After the wedding we took some pictures in the vicinity before heading over to their surprise reception…they didn’t have a clue where they were going, so when it unfolded that they were to spend the afternoon on a canal boat roaming the waterways of Copenhagen they were happy, excited and very emotional, to say the least.
It was the best of afternoons, with champagne, cake, strawberries, blue skies and their best of friends there to celebrate with. There were toasts and speeches and kisses and monuments and bridges and laughter and tears and mermaids even. A truly perfect afternoon.
S + A, you are so lovely and sweet and I had so much fun getting to know you both a little better and feel honoured that you invited me in to share and photograph your lovely lovely day. I know you have known each other a long time, and I can see how much you care for each other and how much fun you have together. It was such a lovely day and I am so glad the boat trip turned out just excellent for you. Thank you so much.
Lot’s of love, to all. A
I recently spent the day in Copenhagen together with Jessie & Tobias as the photographer for their small and relaxed wedding.
It was a perfect Danish day! Sunshine, warm, blue skies and one very cute couple! Jessie & Tobias had come over to Denmark from Germany to get married and eventhough I had never met with them before the day, I felt like I’d known them forever.
The wedding was held at Fredriksberg’s Rådhus followed by portraits and pictures in and around Kastellet, Gefion Springvandet, Skt. Albans Kirke, the windmill and inside the citadel. All beautiful locations for pictures!
J + T. Wow, what a fantastic time I had walking around Copenhagen taking pictures and getting to know you both. I loved how relaxed and easy going you both were and how the love you have for each other shone through all the way. I’m so happy I was there to share this special time with you and had the privilege to capture some amazing memories for you from Copenhagen. You’re so lovely, I could have spent that whole week in Copenhagen photographing the two of you. Many many thanks for choosing me to be there with you. I loved it all.
Here’s a few images from their day in Copenhagen.
Lot’s of love, always and forever, A
