I absolutely loved every second of Frida & Espen’s romantic Swedish midsummer wedding//Bröllop at Flädie mat & vingård. The location is beautifully located in the Southernmost parts of Sweden and known for it’s exclusive dining and great house wine (If you’re interested in wine and up for trying a new bottle have a look at their collection here.) In addition it’s a great location for a wedding reception with lot’s of picture perfect portrait locations and a big reception space for your wedding party.
Frida and Espen started their day of by getting ready in the nearby town of Lund at the beautiful Grand hotel, followed by a church ceremony at Flädie Kyrka, a short walk from the reception venue. And even though it was pouring down with rain as they came out of church, it cleared up quickly and the champagne reception took place outside in the beautiful vineyard. Later that evening, after all that great food, in amongst emotional speeches and loving toasts, the most beautiful sunset appeared and I managed to sneak the couple out for a short sunset shoot in the nearby fields. The evening light, the beautiful backdrop and the gorgeous F + E made for a perfect mix and some amazing photos.
F + E, thank you so very much for having me join you for your amazing wedding! It was an emotional day, filled with so much happiness, love and well wishes. It is clear how loved and supported you are by your family and friends. Not to mention the love you have for one another. It was evident in the way you look at each other, in your tears, in your laughter and in your speeches. It was beautiful to watch. I would like to wish you both all the very best for your future adventures together. Thank you! Lot’s of love, A.
Just wanted to show you a little taster from the wedding I photographed on the French riviera a few weeks back. Such a gorgeous day and the loveliest of couples. Lot’s more pictures to come, but here’s a few from this beautiful day.

Earlier this year I photographed a wedding in Mauritius for the lovely Jhalini & Daniel. A Mauritian-Danish couple living in Glasgow held part of their wedding celebrations in Jhalini’s native Mauritius and I was the lucky one to be there to document it all. It was an amazing experience and something that will be part of me forever. I fell in love with Mauritius off course, but more than that, getting to know Jhalini and Daniel’s families was one of the highlights of my year. Truly.
I’ve shown you a selection of images from two of their other wedding days here and here, but I also wanted you to see another one of their many wedding days, as there is just so much warmth and so much beauty.
I am so grateful to have these memories. And proud to have captured all these moments that are now photographs forever. It’s why I love photography.
Lot’s of love, to all and everyone. A
Last week I had the pleasure of being the photographer for Christina & Scott’s wedding in Copenhagen. I’ll be posting a a bigger blog post with more images from their fun wedding in the near future, but until then here’s one of my favourites.
