Cambridge Countryside Wedding

Earlier this year I was lucky enough to be the photographer for Sana and Manaf’s beautiful wedding that took place at Longstowe Hall in Cambridgeshire, UK. It was truly such a lovely day, and perfect in it’s entirety with the help of a beautiful venue, a touching ceremony, the best couple, gorgeous settings, fun events, powerful entertainment and a whole bunch of fantastic people.

S + M, thank you so much! For sharing your wedding day with me! For being so beautiful, happy and considerate. You are such a lovely couple and truly great together. I really enjoyed capturing all the events throughout your day and was really moved by it all. Thank you!

Lot’s of love, A

Favourites 2014

I’ve thought a lot about time. Time.
But in order to talk about time and understand time, I need to define time.

Time? Is it movement? Growth? Passing of an event? Is time just maturity? Does it go faster the older you get? Is time the same for everyone? How does my minute compare to your minute? Is a fun hour faster than a boring one?

For me, 2014 came and went. Regardless of how many minutes and hours and days there were, they all went by quicker than I could have ever imagined. It really does feel like 2014 went before it really came. Yet the memories are filled with moments to treasure forever. How is it possible that a whole years almost disappears in what feels like no time at all, how is it possible when it contained so much, when the memories that took place therein takes up space I couldn’t even begin to define.

But I realised something revolutionary, that changed my whole outlook on the concept of time; the very best way to make the most of your time, and to properly enjoy all of it, is to live right here, right now, totally devoted to the present. Appreciating the now, making the most of this moment. It was the key to unlock infinity for me. By being present with my focus on right now, immensing myself truly and totally in right here……..right now is where I am. My focus is here and will remain here. In my forever.

I encourage you all to enjoy your moments. Truly be there, right here…right now.
Here’s some of my lovely moments from 2014. Happy new year to all and everyone with wishes for a fantastic 2015!

Lot’s of love, always and forever, A

Sidney Sussex Chapel, Cambridge – the Wedding of Kay & Rupert

I recently shot Kay and Rupert’s wedding in Cambridge, at the gorgeous Sydney Sussex College Chapel followed by a reception at Longestowe Hall.
And wow was it an emotional day from beginning to end! From the moment Kay got into her dress, her mum and the bridesmaids was in tears. And when her dad entered the room shortly thereafter and saw Kay in her dress….it was so beautiful to witness all the emotions and the love in the room at that moment.
Not long after Kay walked down the isle to a completely stunned Rupert. It was if he saw her for the first time, and for the rest of the day he could not keep his eye of her, and kept saying my “wife is so beautiful”, “I cannot believe how beautiful she is”. Later that night during speeches I was in tears myself watching Kay listen to her dads speech and again for Ruperts speech. The bridesmaids, the mum and the guests were in tears.
But is all good tears. And it’s all so beautiful to watch. Its all love.
K+ R, you are such a fun, easy going couple. Chilled, relaxed and just lovely really. And so great to be around!
It’s obvious how much you love each other and there’s no doubt life will just get better because you are together. Thank you for having me and thank you for a perfect day.
Lots of love and hugs. A
