A few weeks back I had the pleasure of being the photographer for Claire & Peter’s wedding at Stock Brook Country Club in Essex.

Even though it was raining non stop pretty much the whole day, it was a gorgeous day! C & P are such a stunning couple and all the little details was equally as beautiful.

After Claire had got ready at home together with her family and bridesmaids the day continued in their local church. A gorgeous, big, light and bright church – perfect for pictures! After the ceremony a London bus took all the guests to the venue where the celebrations continued until late.

C + P, thank you so much for a fantastic day. You guys are so lovely and really perfect together. I wish you all the very best for the future and keep looking after each other :)

Here’s a few pictures from their day. Lot’s of love, A

I loved every minute of Laura & Kevin’s personal and fun going wedding a couple of weeks ago.

I’d met up with L & K a while before the wedding for their engagement shoot, where we had such a good time together, and was so excited to shoot their wedding at a venue I know well, Great Fosters, actually just around the corner from where I live.

Laura, you looked stunning, which wasn’t surprising really as you are such a gorgeous person inside out. Your wedding day was really perfect. I loved so much about it; the little details, your great guests, the weather, the blossom,  the first dance,  your speech. But most of all I loved being as the photographer for your wedding; watching the two of you together and capturing the moments. Thank you so much for having me!

Here’s a taster of what Laura & Kevin’s day looked like.

Lot’s of love, A

The lovely Claire & Paul got married on one of those perfect spring days in April. The sun was shining, flowers in bloom and the surrey country side was warm and pretty.

Claire got ready with her bridesmaids in one of the rooms on the farm before walking down the isle in the grand barn to marry Paul. After the ceremony C & P enjoyed drinks & canapés with friends and family in the sunny garden before sitting down for their wedding breakfast in the transformed barn.

Claire + Paul. You are the most lovely, relaxed couple. I loved every minute of your wedding day and getting to know you both better. I must say your flowers were absolutely amazing and just perfect for you and your venue! Thank you so much for inviting me to share this special time with you.

Here’s a small selection of images from Claire & Paul’s lovely country side wedding. Lot’s of love, A

Favourites 2011

So, another year comes to an end tonight. It’s gone fast. But they say time goes quickly when you’re having fun, so it all makes sense.

As always I’m so thankful for all the things that I have in my business. The number one reason I love being a photographer is to take pictures to make people happy. Pictures to remember. To treasure. To love and cherish. It’s sounds cliche perhaps, but all I could every wish for as a photographer is to make people happy by capturing something that matters.

I got a christmas card this morning from a client and when I read it I cried. I had goosebumps all over and I cried. Because what was said in this one card is all that matters. It’s what I work hard for throughout the year. It’s what I strive for in my short and long term goals. This is what it said:

“Dear Anna, Thank you SO much for the invaluable part that you played in making our wedding day so special. We are over the moon with the storybook and how beautifully your images have captured the magic of the day. Your relaxed approach was perfect for us. We really enjoyed spending time with you during the planning stages and on the day itself, especially during the walks through the gardens for the portrait shoots. Throughout the rest of the day, we didn’t realise that you were taking many of the “in the moment” shots, and so it was a wonderful surprise when we first saw the images online. We are extremely grateful to you for the special images that you took of our family – they are so natural and unique, and totally capture their essence. I would highly recommend the whole experience of having you as a wedding photographer. We will forever treasure our storybook and the time we shared with you Anna. Wishing you all the very best for the future. Natalie & Steve

So, another year comes to an end tonight. But tomorrow a new year starts. A brand new year, with new people, new places, new feelings, new goals, new beginnings and new adventures. So welcome 2012, bring lot’s of love and happiness for all. Please.

I would like to share some of my favourite images from 2011 with you all, and below is a small selection of some of my 2011 very favourite shots.

Happy Happy new year to all. My very best wishes for 2012. Lot’s of love. A

Clemmie & James got married in London a couple of weeks ago. They had such a lovely day at some of my favourite London locations.

Preparations took place at The Berkley hotel together with her bridesmaids and a great team of hair and make up artists. A lovely bright room and a sunny winters day made for some lovely pictures before heading of to Farm Street church close by. One of my favourite London churches, with the loveliest priest, a great grand church and lovely light even for a wedding ceremony taking place in winter after dark. Big plus.

After the ceremony Clemmie and James travelled by London taxi’s to the reception, while guests got a little tour on the big red London buses. Once at The Merchant Taylor Hall we took some pictures in the venue and it’s fantastic courtyard. And even though it was was early evening by now, the venue provided us with some great locations for pictures before the party started properly in the grand hall. It’s an amazing venue; grand, elegant, spacious and full of character.

The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with friends and family before sitting down for wedding breakfast by a candle lit table decorated in Christmas style with lovely ivory, green and navy coloured details. My very favourite being the hand painted Christmas tree baubles for each guest with their name on it.

C + J. Thank you so much for having me join your wedding celebrations. It was so lovely to share it with you and it was such a great day! You are such a considerate and warm couple, and just perfect together. I hope you are enjoying the Maldives! Again, a big thank you and a very Merry Christmas to you both.

Lot’s of love, A
