Tomorrow I’m shooting a wedding in London.

I am completely and utterly in Love with London and have been for a long time now. I came here over 10 years ago with no intentions to stay, but have to say that for every year that goes I fall more and more in love with the energy and soul of London. Every time I go I see new things; new things in & around town and new things in me. We’ve got a little love affair going that leaves me empty if I’m gone to long and happy once I’ve been. It’s a love that surprises me again and again, that leaves me addicted and craving more. Next time I go I’m going to get myself one of those I Love London t-shirts in a funky colour!

Anyway, tomorrow’s journey to the great capital involves another great love of mine; Weddings. It’s time for Samantha & Rana to get married and I am very excited to join them in their celebrations at One Whitehall Place. Here’s a couple of pictures from our engagement shoot a few weeks back.

I’m now going to put my feet up, relax and watch a new release Bollywood film. The absolute best way to charge up on some feel good energy for tomorrows happy day.

I’d been waiting for Friday the 13th for months for no other reason than the fact that the lovely Hannah & Simon’s wedding was taking place…and I was to photograph it!

The utterly amazing and fabulous couple got married at Savill Court Hotel in Egham and as anticipated they had the most fun and relaxed day together. They truly made the most of their day and had the best of times together dancing in the rain, kissing under an umbrella, laughing together through the ceremony and reception, crying during speeches, going wild on the dance floor and dressing up like mad in the photo booth late at night.

I first met H + S at Simons brother’s wedding last year, which also took place on Friday 13th, and was so pleased to see so many familiar faces again. Hannah & Simon, you’re truly lucky and I loved being part of your wedding and felt so welcome by you and all your guests. You really are great together and I love how you make the best of every moment and any given situation. Thank you so much for having me join your day and capture all the fun and beauty therein. I know you’ve been together since forever and would like to wish you both all the happiness for the future.

We walked around the grounds of Pembroke lodge for some relaxed and natural pictures and ended with a wedding talk. This was the first time we met, as they live in Australia, and I am shooting their wedding over the Bank holiday weekend.

S + D, it was really great to finally meet you guys and to have a good talk about the wedding. I loved our little walk, you guys are so easygoing and relaxed, and can’t wait to capture the spirit of your wedding.

Last week I photographed the wedding of Ade and Yomi in London and what an amazing day it was!

Gorgeous Ade got ready in their west London pent house together with her bridesmaids and the light, coming in from all angles, was stunning and such a treat to work with. Lot’s of lovely details, combined with hair and make up made for some great shots before we headed of to church close by.

Once the personal service was finished we continued onto to the reception venue at the Hurlingham club for some relaxed and romantic pictures of just the two of them before guest started to arrive about 1/2 hour later or so. The grounds at Hurlingham are such a treat with lovely wild gardens, open grass, rose gardens and little cute hideouts – perfect for a lovely wedding mix.

Once inside the treats continued with Cosmopolitan drinks for all guests and a huge mix of lovely African specialities on the tables. The reception room is massive, again with great light, palm trees and dance floor to fit 300 people.

The evening contained a mixture of amazing voices, colourful outfits, amazing food and love & laughter all around. Lot’s of personal touches together with Nigerian traditions made for a truly amazing day and I am so incredibly happy to have been part of it.

A + Y, thanks a million for inviting me and S to share your day and capture all your moments. I don’t think I put my camera down once during the whole of your wedding day and have so, so many lovely pictures for you. Thank you also for the lovely food you provided for us, stunning! Ade, you are so incredibly gorgeous and sparkled all day. Your wedding day was truly perfect, much like you two together.

Sarah and Ross’ wedding was a day full of love, laughter and joy. From the very first moment I arrived at preparations in the morning of the wedding, I could feel the warm energy from everyone involved.

It was a day where family and friends came together to celebrate S + R’s future together. Where little details such as the dress, the cake and even the food was created by a member of the family. Everyone contributed and put a little bit of themselves in this wedding, which off course made it even more special and personal.

Sarah and Ross had a beautiful church service followed by some relaxed and natural pictures in a field right next door to their reception venue before they were seated for their wedding breakfast.

S + R. I can’t begin to describe how wonderful your wedding was. Every single moment of your day was filled with love and emotion and it was beautiful to watch. Thank you so much for having me and for trusting me to capture your wedding day.

I can’t believe how fast time goes when you’re busy and having fun. This last month has just flown away, hence the absence in blog posts. I have so much to show as I have been shooting non stop this summer, so lot’s of cute kids, couples and weddings incoming.

Now onto the lovely Leisha & Andrew who got married in the beautiful Surrey countryside at Woldingham School & Chapel. It was a lovely day in lovely surroundings, and as usual I could have gone on taking pictures of the two of them forever as there was just so many beautiful spots for pictures.

The ceremony was held in the Woldingham School Chapel by Leisha’s uncle. He held a truly passionate and touching service full of energy and love. After the service we walked to the nearby fields to get some pictures in the country. They both love cows, and there was nothing short of them around here, so what better than to take some romantic and natural images in the fields and meadows.

At the end of the wedding breakfast Andrew surprised Leisha with some fantastic fireworks. Very romantic and they were truly spectacular.

Leisha & Andrew, thank you so much for having me there for your wedding and for your special moments. You’re such a match and watching you together all day: perfectly in love. Thank you also for seating me with your guest (and people I’ve actually met at another wedding). The food vegetarian food was such a delight!

Here’s a few favorites from the day. Lot’s of love. A
