Happy New Year to everyone!
So, 2011 has already started and we’ve left 2010 behind us. Or almost. In order to fully enjoy this new fab year ahead I felt I had to go back and evaluate what’s been. I looked at the business plan I made last January to see what I’d accomplished in 2010, what goal’s I’d reached and what lessons I’d learnt. More importantly I looked back on my work, my images.
The images I took during 2010 tells a story of people in love, of new beginnings, happiness and laughter. Of romance and closeness perhaps, family bonds and thoughtful details. They tell other peoples stories, but they also tell mine. A story of where I’ve been, what I’ve seen and who I’ve met. But more so they will portray a piece of me, as part of me is in each one of the images I’ve taken.
2010 has been a super year. I know I say that every year, but it is so. To define super; I’ve grown as a person, I’ve lived and learned. I’ve made new friends and played with old. I’ve traveled to places never seen before and enjoyed others close to my home, and to my heart. I’ve given and received. I’ve learnt from my mistakes and forgotten others’.
So what has 2011 got in store? I actually don’t know exactly. I have some amazing weddings booked, a few trips planned and a couple of major projects in progress. But I do know that I am happy and will continue to enjoy life to the fullest.
I will end this post with a rather big selection of images (displayed in no particular order) that for one reason or another made it in to a folder called: “Favourites”. But remember; ”Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.
Lot’s of love, to all, with hopes that 2011 will be a wonderful year for each and every one of us. A
